Exnovo AirTX™ IP67 Sealed Dry Type Transformer is a perfect solution for dusty and wet environments and conditions. The equipment is the first of its kind with completely sealed windings utilizing a superior Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) system.
The VPI transformer core is made from prime quality, low-loss, grain-orientated silicon steel, coated with high-temperature insulation. The core configuration consists of fully mitered joints with multiple step-lap to ensure minimal sound levels while reducing excitation current and core losses. The transformer is constructed with foil wound secondary winding and strip wound primary winding to provide excellent mechanical and short-circuit strength.
C5-M anti-corrosion level surface treatment is suitable for any harsh environment, including high salinity areas or underground mining. HV and LV windings are wound with Class H (180°C) or Class C (220°C) triple-layer insulation paper. The unit is installed within a hermetically sealed IP67-rated enclosure giving your transformer the best protective solution against the intrusion of dust, moisture, and other contaminants.
